Enjoy Your Best Smile With Routine Checkups
There’s a tremendous difference between people that have routine care versus those that are lapsing in care. My goal is if a patient comes to see me and says, ‘Doc, I haven’t been here in 15 years,’ that’s okay, but from here on out, I want to make sure that we’re being seen every three, four, six months, whatever we recommend that would be the best result for them longterm.
Nothing’s more gratifying than taking somebody that is in a rough shape and getting them to such a healthy state and they know that they’re better off, not only with their oral environment, but also systemically, they’re just a healthier individual. And one of the things I really love is that we’ve made a substantial investment in terms of the quality of technology that we deliver from a periodontal perspective.
Our hygienists all have something called an EMS air polisher. An air polisher is an amazing tool that gently sprays air and a glycine powder on the tooth surface to debride any bacteria and debris that may be harboring around there and under the gums. It’s gentle, it’s easy, and it’s a lot more comfortable than your traditional cleanings would be. We have patients that walk away saying, ‘My teeth have never felt cleaner. It was faster, and it was far more comfortable than what I have ever had.’
